Sound Bath with Kerry Blank

About the Sound Bath

This one-hour sound immersion invites your whole system to slow down and settle. Kerry will guide you through an experience with Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls—infused with gemstones and precious metals—creating tones and vibrations that gently meet you where you are.

The sound bath offers an opportunity to:

  • Release tension and stored stress

  • Support nervous system regulation

  • Create space for emotional or energetic realignment

You are welcome to listen in a way that honors your body and nervous system—whether that means lying still for the full hour, or quietly shifting position, taking a short break, and returning. The only request is that these choices are made in a way that is respectful to the group experience.

The session will take place in our home at Congruence. While this is not a horse activity, the herd will be just outside, holding quiet space as they always do. Our dogs, Luna and Jax, will be in the house during the event.

We will have couches and cozy chairs available for those who prefer to sit, as well as floor space for lying down. If you’d like to rest on the floor, please bring a mat, blanket, pillow, or anything else that will help you feel comfortable.

FAQs

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a therapeutic experience where participants lie down comfortably and immerse themselves in sounds produced by various instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums. The vibrations and frequencies of these instruments promote relaxation and healing.

What are the benefits of attending a sound bath workshop?

Sound baths are known to induce deep relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, enhance meditation experiences, and promote overall well-being. Participants often report feeling rejuvenated and balanced after a session.

Do I need to have experience with meditation or sound healing to attend?

No prior experience is necessary. Sound bath workshops are suitable for beginners and experienced individuals alike. The facilitator will guide you through the experience, and all you need to do is relax and allow the sounds to wash over you.

What should I expect during a sound bath session?

During a sound bath, you will typically lie down on a comfortable mat or blanket in a relaxed position. The facilitator will then play various instruments, creating soothing sounds and vibrations that you will feel throughout your body. It's a passive experience, and you are encouraged to simply let go and enjoy the sounds.

What should I bring to a sound bath workshop?

You may want to bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or anything else that will help you feel comfortable lying down for an extended period. Wear loose, comfortable clothing to enhance relaxation. It's also a good idea to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Are there any contraindications or precautions I should be aware of?

While sound baths are generally safe for most people, individuals with certain medical conditions or who are pregnant should consult with their healthcare provider before attending. Sound baths involve deep relaxation, so it's essential to ensure your safety and well-being.

How long is a typical sound bath session?

The duration of sound bath workshops can vary, but they typically last between 60 to 90 minutes.

What if I get restless and want to get up during the session?

We encourage you to listen to the messages of your body, become curious to any reactivity and respond as necessary within your personal experience. We ask that, should you need to move or leave the experience, you respect the quiet presence of the other participants.

How often should I attend sound bath sessions to experience benefits?

The frequency of attending sound bath sessions depends on individual preferences and needs. Some people find weekly sessions beneficial, while others may attend less frequently. Listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
