REORIENT AND RISE
A Women’s Leadership Reset with Equine Partners
March 5-8, 2026
Tucson, Arizona
LEADERSHIP IS CHANGING. ARE YOU?
The world is in a crisis of leadership. Old models of power — dominance, hierarchy, control — are collapsing. Yet their imprints remain in our systems, our bodies, and our ways of relating.
This retreat isn’t about polishing your leadership style. It’s an invitation to notice your relationship with power itself —
where you push.
where you hold back
where old rules you never consciously agreed to still live in your body, shaping how you show up
As awareness grows, the body begins to settle. What once felt like effort starts to feel like alignment — a natural ease between what you sense, say, and do.
From there, leadership begins to flow differently. It’s no longer about control or performance, but about connection — the kind that earns trust, creates clarity, and invites others to rise with you.
AT ITS HEART
This is not about theory. It’s about leadership revealed in its truest form — experienced in the most honest arena you’ll ever enter.
When leaders operate from survival — tension, overextension, or inherited power dynamics — they lose touch with the innate intelligence that guides authentic influence.
In the company of the herd, these patterns come into view. You begin to feel, perhaps for the first time, what it’s like to lead from presence — grounded in yourself, trusted by others, and attuned to the deeper coherence of the whole.
From this place of clarity, instinct, and inner compass, leadership transforms. It’s no longer about control, but about cultivating trust, reciprocity, and genuine partnership.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…..
you identify as a woman
You’ve been leading from tension, overextension, or old survival strategies
you sense you are capable of leading with greater impact - yet hesitate to fully step in
you want to experience a different relationship with power - quieter, steadier, more attuned
You long to reconnect with your body’s intelligence and lead from grounded presence
You’re curious about a form of leadership that honors relationship, not control
You feel called to reorient from doing to being — from performing to belonging
WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER
To recognize when you’re leading from survival — and how to return to steadiness
To experience power as presence — quiet, clear, and relational
To rebuild trust in your instincts and let them guide your influence
To listen through your body — and feel the intelligence that lives beneath words
To lead in a way that invites connection, not control
To translate what you learn with the herd into everyday leadership and life
To reorient from doing to being — bringing belonging, authenticity, and presence into all you lead
THE EXPERIENCE
This is more than a series of activities, this retreat is an immersion in a place intentionally created to nurture a sense of safety and connection — allowing your system to settle into reflection and growth.
Set within Congruence Tucson, the sanctuary itself is part of the teaching. The stillness of the Sonoran Desert, the rhythm of the herd, and the spacious pace of the days create a container where you can rest, restore, and reset.
Here, you’re not doing this work alone. In circle, in the arena, and around the table, the community becomes part of the medicine — a place of reciprocity where giving and receiving are woven into every experience.
THE PRESENCE OF THE HERD
Horses live in truth. They don’t care about your title, CV, or charming personality. They respond only to presence — to the energy you bring in each moment.
In their company, leadership patterns surface naturally:
when you overextend or push too hard.
when you hesitate or hold back.
when steadiness and clarity invite genuine trust.
The herd’s feedback is immediate and compassionate. They offer clear, embodied signals that help you notice what’s happening within your own system — not to judge, but to guide you back into connection with yourself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Throughout the retreat, you’ll experience a gentle rhythm of time with the herd, guided coaching, and shared reflection in community. All work with the horses is done on the ground — no experience required. A welcome dinner is provided on Thursday evening, along with plant based lunch and coffee, tea, and light breakfast offerings each day.
DAY 1
ARRIVAL AND ORIENTATION
Thursday, March 5, 5pm–
Arrive at the sanctuary and settle into the quiet rhythm of the desert. In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner at the Sanctuary — sharing intentions, meeting the herd, and beginning to create the circle that will hold our work.
DAY 2
AWARENESS
Friday, March 6, 9:00-5:00
Enter the arena with the herd and begin to notice the unconscious patterns that shape your leadership. Through their honest, non-judgmental feedback, you’ll see clearly where you’ve been operating from — overextending, holding back, or defaulting to old habits.
DAY 3
ATTUNEMENT & ALIGNMENT
Saturday, March 7, 9:00-5:00
Learn what it feels like to shift your presence. With the herd and each other, you’ll practice moving from reaction to steadiness, from control to clarity, from hesitation to trust. This is the day of embodied discovery — aligning with your authentic self in ways you can feel.
DAY 4
INTEGRATION & CLOSING
Sunday, March 8, 9:00-1:00
Gather in circle for a morning devoted to integration and ceremony. Reflect on what has emerged, exploring how to carry these insights into your leadership and daily life.

YOUR GUIDES
A Rare Synthesis
Bryn and Peggy bring a rare blend of lived leadership experience and contemplative depth. Both former CEOs and graduates of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, they unite somatic wisdom, leadership coaching, and mindfulness practice in partnership with the herd — creating a living field where patterns are revealed with clarity and authentic ways of leading emerge.
Bryn Jones brings her depth as an executive and leadership coach, and facilitator of restorative and trauma-informed community spaces. She helps leaders, teams and change agents connect to power wisely, see the patterns shaping their influence and translate embodied moments in the arena into insights and strategies they can use immediately. Learn more about Bryn on her website, Gathering Elan.
Peggy O’Kelly, founder of Congruence Tucson, is an advanced Somatic Experiencing® student and nervous-system educator who speaks in the language of the herd — attuning to subtle relational shifts and the physiology beneath behavior. Her work supports individuals in recognizing the survival patterns that drive overextension, anxiety, and disconnection, and in gently guiding their systems toward regulation and repair.
